Nice collection of Triumphs! What modifications do you have planned?
Hi, thanks for noticing/asking Daisy is a stock show car/driver with minor mods such as a custom interior that is still in the spirit of the day you could say, freshened the engine and added a few minor performance parts like K&N's, Pertronix Distributor and Monza exhuast. Vintage Racer I'll initially restore to a pretty stock format since I will be new on the track next year and VARAC rules don't have a lot of flexibility. The engine compression will be heightened, flow the intake and exhaust, make sure the mechanical and safety measures are top notch... Long term, go to SVRA rules and change out the weak rotoflex, strengthen the transmission and upgrade the engine to stage 3 perhaps. We'll see how next year goes... The spitfire will be on hold for at least 2 years and I may even sell it since I could use the garage space and may not want to invest the time later, we'll see. Cheers, Vince
I spent a few hours in the man cave again last night fixing some of the mess the PO has made of the inner rockers and front floor pans. I fabbed up some inner rockers and a small patch for the front passenger floor and welded them in. The extra layer on the inner rocker will add a little strength in case of a side impact which is good...

Hi Vince. Looking good man, I'm planning on building a GT6 this winter and would be interested in seeing more pics of the rollcage when it's done, and if possible the name of the shop that did it. Thanks Mike
Finished the rough block sanding on the outer bonnet the last few nights, removing a lot of excess bondo from previous jobs that had not been blocked down properly. I sprayed on a light guide coat late night so it'll be ready for the first pass of finish block sanding at my next opportunity. Progress....
