Purchased in 1999, this was the fifth or sixth Spider I’d driven, and the first one that gave me a wicked grin and the immediate thought, “Now THIS is a car worth getting into trouble over.” I’ve driven this car back and forth between Portland and San Francisco, the Oregon coast, and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho a dozen or more times. This car makes me happier than any other car I’ve ever owned.
