1972 MG Midget

I bought this for $300 after it sat in the weather for about eight years. This was my first restoration on my own. It’s no showcar, but it was built to run.

Cool. I love the round-arch chrome-bumper Midgets.

It's real fun seeing your 72 Midget. My first car was a 1971 MG orange/red in color. I put Simprit M401 165/70x13 tires. Koni rear shock conversion. Front anti sway bar, With Armstrong comp elbow shocks out back. My trip from home to work included a large section of Mulholland Drive!!! Thanks the ride into the past!!! MAG53

I've seen Midgets in shows no cleaner than this one. I know it's great to drive but you really outta enter it in shows too. There are not many still around that are driven and look this good.

Absolutely love it! Brings back memories of my first car, bought in 1971... a '70 MG Midget, British racing green! So much fun to drive. Sure would love to own one again someday.
