I bought this Jeep sight-unseen in southern California with 44,000 miles on it. Like my old Cherokee, it has a fuel injected 4 litre straight six and a four speed automatic. I had it inspected by a shop that I found through the Car Talk Mechanics Files. Flew to L.A., drove it to Oregon, and towed my MG home to Alaska. It handles a 2000 pound car on a 1000 pound trailer very well. I upgraded to a Selec-Trac AWD transfer case last year for ease of operation on our typical dry/wet/icy/dry/snowy/dry roads.
