1972 Triumph GT6

Purchased at the Carlisle Import and Kitcar show in May 2011. Wasn’t really looking to buy a car, but it was simply too good of a deal to pass up and I’d been having major seller’s remorse about selling my Spit 6. The selling price also included a spare engine, trans and differential as well as a few boxes of crusty parts. Unfortunately, none of the parts were stored well and I’m not sure how much value they are. The engine supposedly ran well when it was pulled from a wrecked car, but right now it spins as if it has no compression at all. As it sits, it doesn’t need much and as of this posting on 7/19, all I’ve done to it is put gas in it and a coat of wax. In the near future, it’ll get a front bearing re-packing and a new choke cable. More long-term projects are investigating what feels like a toasted 2nd gear syncro and packed out seats.

Wow, that's a very clean looking MK-III... Congrats on the nice catch!
