1971 Triumph TR6

Last driven in 1984. Blew a head gasket and was parked in a garage where it has been ever since (until I brought it to my garage in July 2011. ) It has 83,000 miles, no rust on the frame or the bottom panels of car. It has a few rusty spots on the upper body panels. The top and interior are trash as the rats and time have done the number on them. The owner was not mechanically inclined and could never really afford to have the work done to restore it. A chance conversation put it in my hands as he wanted it to go to someone who would restore it and drive it and KEEP IT. And he only wanted $400!! It will take me a couple of years to go all through it and restore it to the standard that I want it at, but I know what I’m doing as I have two 1965 Mustang convertible (ground-up-bare-metal) restorations under my belt. This is the car that I have been in love with since I was a kid.
