Bought in ‘81 when still a poor High School student, looking for an Austin Healey to replace my Fiat 850 as a Daily Driver/Weekend Racer. As I was figuring out that a Healey wasn’t in the budget, Madge sort of fell into my lap. She sort of had the Healey engine, and I figured that when the right Healey came along, I’d move up. 30 years, almost a quarter million miles and a dozen or so cars in-and-out of my life later, and I still have her. She’s a great car and we’ve had a LOT of good times together.
