I was debating both, costs not being a major player in my decision. I know Honda's I'm comfortable with them, and my better half also hit me with the "well it's cheaper too." Si is a great car; but, I'm wishing I would have taken the risk on the N.

The Si is the Veloster turbo competitor where the N is the CTR competitor. CTR's are going for $34k (retail at $37k) where the N is going for $25k ($28k retail). Veloster Turbo's are around $20-21k compared to the Si's $23-24k. So no.... the comparable cars the Honda is more expensive.

I'm assuming you're talking about the non-performance pack Veloster N's?  They're finally starting to offer PP Veloster N's with Hyundai incentives, so I'm seeing them around 28k now.  With the '19 models around here, we had some scumbag dealers trying to tack on 5K ADM charges.

This. I couldn't care less what other numb and soulless BMW comes out with next. I was pretty disappointed with the M4, M2, and M340i's I recently drove and I would bet my kidney that the VN is more fun than all of those.
