Some of these meets are spur of the moment, popping up after major events like the Tokyo Auto Salon, or are only lightly publicized on social media. But others are closely guarded secrets between members of specific groups.

The last time I was in Japan, I saw so many amazing things but the cars were the icing on the cake. My sister and I even stumbled upon a small meet in a parking garage while exploring Shibuya.
Oh, and check out this newspaper from on base that my folks sent me about a month ago. There are even QR codes for different meets this year in the article.
