Sure, the Mazda Miata may be "the answer," but does that logic still apply when the tarmac disappears? We used that question as a good enough reason to enter a Miata with a Paco Motorsports lift kit in the 2020 Gambler 500 Florida.

Reminds me of the fun I had in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Had good times driving my Saab 96 V4 down the fire trails and clay pits.

I totally did that. With the roll bar and windshield frame it just sits right on the top nice and level, and you can easily strap it down to the roll bar.

Normally I'd have winched from inside the car, but with a 12000 lb. winch cable dragging a barely-stuck 2200 lb. car I knew I had plenty of excess capacity.
