A shifter kart already has the potential to be exhilarating on its own, but what happens when you replace its stock motor with a rotary engine from a 1975 Hercules W2000 motorcycle?

My old Birel/Honda RS125 shifter would do 110+ and run out of gear on the front straight at Summit Point. The 250cc karts would supposedly do 140 there. I believe it as they would go past me like I was tied to a tree. It's crazy just how fast a 250 shifter kart goes!!!!!!

It sounds like they're short shifting in the lower gears instead of winding it out.
