Master detailer Tim McNair from Grand Prix Concours shows how to restore brake calipers from worn-out to like-new. He uses the Classic Motorsports 2001 Porsche Boxster S project car as an example. Presented by CRC Industries.

Tim McNair is good with the detail tips. Look for a bunch regarding the M3 project although, oddly, we need to remove some red paint from the calipers.

It's Duplicolor ceramic for brake calipers, and we're adding that to the video. Thanks.

Apparently, the term "restore" has quite different meanings to people. I was expecting to see calipers removed, disassembled, inspected, bead blasted, bores honed, threads chased, powercoated, reassembled with all new parts.....but I guess wiping it down, spray painting it while it's still on the car, and talking about putting a sticker on it is "restored".
Ok.
