Turbo Tara–GRM friend and contributor–has a varied stable that includes this 1963 Dodge 440 Ramcharger drag car tribute. Power comes from a 440 topped with four down-draft Webers. It runs mid-11s.
She also has a burnout pit. “After my shop was built out back, we had to have concrete poured in front of it anyway, so we measured and placed two wood blocks in the wet concrete so the metal tie-down rings would be inset,” she explains. “A burnout in the morning is more effective than caffeine. Also, sticky rubber flakes make great custom garage door decor.”
