Remote control vehicles tend to be things like sports cars or off-road trucks, but who said that tractors can’t be part of the fun, too?
We aren’t entirely sure about the the demand for realistic r/c vehicles like these, but we’re intrigued nonetheless.

Kinda mesmerizing

That's cool.
I tried doing that in HS with one of the nice JD diecast replicas you could buy at the John Deere dealer. It worked, but not well.

We used to have guys running r/c sailboats in a nearby pond. Equally tranquil.

Remote control of fullsize tractors is already a thing, and full autonomy is around the corner.
We took a group of college Jr. & Sr. agriculture majors on a week long, state wide, tour of Ag industries across the state, as part of a ag leadership program. While visiting with the home office John Deere franchise conglomerate that's taking over, and buying all of its competitors, throughout the state, we sat through some JD propaganda videos. They were claiming that set-it-and-forget-it farming was <10 years away, fully autonomous tractors and combines. In one of the videos the combines were harvesting at night while the farmer was in bed, telemetry data all went to a tablet.
Real world I know we're closer than ever to that being a reality, thanks got GPS and RTK, not to mention near-real-time drone mapping. Tractors have been "driving themselves" for over a decade. Elon was late to the game.
It seems appropriate for The Singularity to be Case IH red or John Deere green.
I welcome our robot overlords, y'all.

A couple of years ago I joked that our back yard looked like it had been attacked by scale model D9 Cats. We thought it was raccoons, was I wrong?

My dad had a big, 6 foot LOA R/C sailboat that was basically a scaled down 12-metre design with a flush wood deck. It was sturdily built and beautifully finished in mahogany over white fiberglass.
It was heavy enough to be easy to tack, but light enough it didn't take a ton of breeze. I used to absolutely love sailing that thing.

After watching this, I had to see if there were RC Tractor Pulls.
Yep, and some pretty damn insane ones too.

The people that are into this are really into this.
This guy spent 15 years (!?!) digging his basement with RC equipment that he built
