The goal? Build the fastest Mazda RX-7 for Pikes Peak ever. The time frame? Five months.
Top Gear joined rotary enthusiast Rob Dahm (he rotary-swapped a Corvette once) to share the journey of how he built an RX-7 into a Pikes Peak entrant.
We’ll find out on Sunday, June 22, if he’ll achieve his goal.

I've followed along with Rob's increasingly insane rotary adventures since UPS lost his 4 rotor in the mail (I checked his channel, this was 10 years ago!). If anyone can make it happen, he can.

It fell off the back of the truck in New Jersey?
I may not go in person, but I plan on following the race more closely this year. I'll keep an eye out for fast RX-7s.
