$2000 isn’t nearly enough to make a competitive race car, right? Wrong.
How do we know? Just look at our annual Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge Presented by Tire Rack and powered by AutoBidMaster, which seeks to find out if a car built for less than $2000 beats one built for far more.

I would love to learn more about the different builds besides the Bug/Miata. I look through the threads, but I must be missing a bunch. Specifically I'm intrigued by what the heck was going on with the #7 that made it so fast in drag. Did it have any EV parts like the pictures suggest? Will there be more coverage about all the builds forthcoming? Thanks again!

Rear engine rear drive. Good for getting grip!
I forget which engine is in it. Iirc, it is a v6.
