Is the Honda K-Series engine the perfect poweprlant for something like a VW Golf GTI? Paul Inskeep seems to think so, since that’s what he put in his Mk2 Volkswagen track machine.
We took a closer look at this Honda-powered VW at the 2021 Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge, where the car managed a fastest lap time of 2:12.095.

I think a K engine makes nearly everything better. :)
The guy that tunes our race cars has built a K24 powered 997.
Only 10psi on a dime a dozen 9th gen Si engine and making 435whp.

Gosh, I almost feel like 997s are worth too much to want to do that kind of swap. It's not like finding a 996 with IMS bearing damage.
