Eric Foss came to the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge this past weekend armed with a 630-horsepower BMW V10-powered Riley Track Day Car owned by Jeff Mosing—the guy who bought our rotary Miata project. Watch as Eric squeezes all the speed he can out of the Riley. He set a 1:44.376 lap time in his second timed session. That was the fastest time we’ve ever recorded at the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge.

Yep, Eric can drive.
I first met Eric back at one of the first resurrected ARRCs--pretty sure it was 1995. He was driving an ITB Volvo 142. At the time, that was one of the hot cars.
Nice to see him still out there. If you're at a pro race and see Eric, stop and say hi. You can tell him that I sent you.
