Dealer Profile: Charles Agapiou, Ltd.

For the last 30 years, Charles Agapiou, Ltd., has been the prominent independent Rolls-Royce and Bentley repair facility in the greater Los Angeles area. In fact, we have been seeking an excuse to visit this shop for years.

Owner Charles Agapiou came to the United States from London in 1961. He then joined the staff of Ken Miles Ltd. in Hollywood as a mechanic. Shortly after Agapiou joined the organization, Miles was hired away as a test driver for Carroll Shelby’s racing team. Agapiou joined him at their facility and became a chief mechanic and crew chief during the team’s pursuit of the world championship.

In 1976, Agapiou opened a Rolls-Royce and Bentley service facility in the San Fernando Valley. After outgrowing that first location, the shop moved to its current location on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. Thanks to the facility’s proximity to the entertainment industry, the shop rapidly became the chosen destination for many Hollywood celebrities. The dealership is stuffed with significant Rolls-Royce and Bentley motorcars, along with displays of Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Shelby racing memorabilia.

Other Services: In addition to their services, the company is well known for offering quality used luxury cars and classics for sale.

Hot Buy: We loved their 2003 Bentley Azure Mulliner wide-body convertible. The car is finished in Black Sapphire over a Stone Gray leather interior and has only driven 7700 miles since new. Its price, we’re told, is available upon request.
