This Fiat 508 S comes with history, and that includes Elsie Wisdom with time behind its wheel. The racing pioneer competed with the car at Brooklands in 1936, finishing third overall.
This example came with a special 1100cc engine and a four-speed transmission not available until later on in production. Since this car was sold in England, it was bodied there, too, which resulted in some slight differences from those sold elsewhere.
After World War II ended, George Liston Young, founder of the Fiat Register, owned the car. The history of this example is well documented, says the seller.
