Lotus celebrated its 1978 Formula 1 World Championship win with driver Mario Andretti by producing this special edition Lotus Esprit.
The British carmaker built just 100 JPS editions from October 1978 to March 1979, with each car carrying the distinctive John Player & Sons colors that Andretti had during his championship-winning season.
This particular example is highly photogenic, earning attention in magazines as well as Omologato watch advertisements.
Find this 1979 Lotus Esprit JPS up for auction at Mathewsons, with an estimated winning bid of £50,000-£51,000 (approximately $62,105-$63,347).
