When you think of the sound of a Lamborghini Diablo, you might think of the exhaust note from its V12. However, a few might recognize the Alpine Audio inside. This edition celebrates the relationship between the automaker and the audio maker.
Built exclusively for the U.S. market, Lamborghini produced just 12 examples of this special edition.
What makes an Alpine Edition an Alpine Edition? Sure, a few aesthetic embellishments, but the cars also used Alpine’s top-of-the-line CVA-1005 head unit, with an integrated navigation system and DVD player, six-disc CD changer and “an arsenal of Alpine tweeters, midrange drivers and subwoofers powered by amplifiers badged ‘Lamborghini.’”
