Aston Martin didn’t make many DB5 Vantages–about 70 in total. If you’re looking for a left-hand-drive model, cut that number down to 17. This DB5 is one of them.
You couldn’t pick a better example if you’re looking for factory-equipped goodies. Among them include Normalair air conditioning, a Blaupunkt Koln TR radio, chrome wheels with three-ear hub caps and the Vantage engine. More on the power plant in a bit.
This car underwent an extensive restoration at Aston Martin Works from 2017 to 2021, costing more than £400,000 (roughly $501,520 USD). The engine was overhauled in the 1990s, with a restamped engine block. A continuation engine from Aston Martin Works will be delivered post-sale to the new owner.
Find this 1965 Aston Martin DB5 Vantage up for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated winning bid of $1,250,000-$1,800,000.
