2000 Chrysler Viper GTS R for sale

If you were watching the American Le Mans Series in the late '90s and early 2000s—either in person or on TV—chances are that you’ve already seen this 2000 Chrysler Viper GTS R before and are familiar with its success: ALMS GTS class champion, GTS class winner at Sebring and Le Mans, and first place finishes at seven out of 10 ALMS races in the 2000 season.

Powering this Viper is an 8.0-liter V10 rated for 620 horsepower that’s backed by a six-speed T56 transmission. Double wishbone suspension can be found on all four corners, as well as multi-piston Brembo calipers with ventilated discs.

Billed as “one of the winningest Viper’s in history” and “the most significant American race car of our generation,” this GTS R is accompanied by numerous spares and the racing suit worn by driver Karl Wendlinger during his Le Mans win in the car.
