There are pace car editions–and then there are actual pace cars. This is the latter, which was one of two used for the 2002 Daytona 500.
This car carries with it two significant signatures–Tony Stewart and Jay Leno. Stewart would finish last in the race, but he went on to win his first of three NASCAR Cup Series championships later that year. Leno was well into his first stint at the helm of The Tonight Show.
The car carries a 5.7-liter V8 with a six-speed manual. The odometer reads just 6812 miles.
