This 1932 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 features the typical Italian underpinnings, but with an exterior that sports a French flair.
The coachwork was designed by Carrosserie Figoni, a French firm founded by an Italian ex-pat. Figoni is best known for the design of Talbot-Lago’s Teardrop Coupe.
This chassis, no. 10814377, has more than French coachwork, however. It also has French-language data plates, an Alfa Romeo Paris radiator badge and French-language wheel knockoffs. The Alfa also sports another relative rarity–adjustable shock absorbers.
This car’s a winner, too, having finsihed first in its class at the 2021 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Find this 1932 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 up for auction at Broad Arrow Auctions, with an estimated winning bid of $1,500,000-$2,000,000.
