Available for the first time in decades: Corvette SS Styling Car

This is the very 1957 Corvette SS styling car that Chevrolet unveiled at the New York auto show. It showed the world what Chevrolet could do.

To prepare this Corvette for the show, Chevy fitted the car with a custom pearlescent white exterior, blue stripes, brushed aluminum side covers, rounded windscreens and custom taillamps. Inside you’ll find blue leather upholstery, marking a first for the Corvette line.

The famed Rochester Ramjet fuel injection system fitted under the hood delivered a groundbreaking 283 horsepower.
