Briggs Cunningham fielded this Frazer Nash at Sebring

Frazer Nash made only 10 examples of the Targa Florio Mk 1, with this one fielded by Briggs Cunningham in the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1953.

How did it do? The seller says, “The Targa Florio, in the hands of John Bennett and Charles Moran Jr., was on course for a potential class win until its wheel nuts worked loose due to the unrelenting bumpy surface of Sebring’s airfield.”

Later, in 2015, the car underwent a full restoration, and has since competed at Goodwood.

Find this 1952 Frazer Nash Targa Florio up for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of $485,000-$600,000.
