Fast and Furious prop car | 1998 BMW 540i for sale

If you’re a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise, you may recognize this 1998 BMW 540i. It appeared as one of the prop cars in Fast and Furious 4.

The movie portrayed this car as a BMW M5 in a tryout race scene alongside Vin Diesel’s and Paul Walker’s characters. The seller says it’s “believed to be one of two surviving BMWs used in the filming, and the only known surviving V8.”

They prepped the BMW for stunts, which means they stripped down the interior to a single race seat and a full roll cage.

A 4.4-liter V8 resides under the hood, with a 6-speed manual transmission delivering the power.
