1993 Ferrari 512 TR by J.A. Ackley

The Royal Family of Brunei commissioned multiple series of one-off coachbuilt Ferraris during the 1980s and 1990s. This Ferrari 512 TR is one of them, clad in the bespoke color combination of Blu Cobalto over Blu Scuro Connolly leather, with matching carpets and soft top. This is the only 512 TR in these colors.
However, this example never made it to Brunei. Instead, it was retained by the dealer, Alfred Tan, of Hong Seh Motors, for his personal collection. Tan rarely presented it to the public.
The current owner bought this Ferrari in November 2023. They then sent it to Pebble Beach Concours-winning RM Auto Restoration for more than $65,000 of cosmetic refinishing.
