Really like the look of Italian cars, but are disappointed by their apparent reliability? Why not just build your own cars? That’s exactly what German Erich Bitter did.

The seller notes that Bitter himself never hid the fact that his designs looked a lot like what was coming out of Italy–hence why some say the Bitter Coupé is almost like a German Ferrari 400i.

Noted to be one of only 488 examples ever built and powered by a 3.0 liter straight-six that’s backed by an automatic transmission, the car currently shows 76,261 kilometers, or about 47,386 miles.

Find this 1981 Bitter Coupé SC 3.0 for sale from Gallery Aaldering for $44,796.

Well, it's stunning and actually has practical use on the road. I have two issues: One is with parts,

especially body parts and finding wrench who knows these cars.

I agree, it does look stunning. Good point about body parts. Hopefully they're not ever needed. Love the color, too.
