This is one of the earliest Paint to Sample examples of the Porsche 911. It’s finished in Weissgrau (white gray), one of a handful in 1965, but it’s not the typical Weissgrau. It is believed to actually be the Mercedes-Benz variant from Lesonal.
The early Porsche 911 is highly original and comes with some interesting features. For example, the interior still retains the original 356-style blue square weave carpeting and seating with as-delivered Blue upholstery, except for an area repaired on the driver’s side bolster.
Since the consignor acquired the car in 2022, they have put a bit of work into the car. Among those items include rebuilt Solex carburetors, a fuel and oil tank flush, a brake system rebuild, a restored steering wheel, a speedometer rebuild, a rebuilt transmission and fresh tires.
Find this 1965 Porsche 911 for auction at Broad Arrow Auctions, with an estimated value of $200,000-$230,000.
