I always love learning about cars I never knew existed.
Totally rad. Totally would buy.

When you think of rad-era supercars, the Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari F40 may come to mind. However, there was also the Isdera Imperator 108i. This is one of 30 built from 1984 to 1993.
The roots of this vehicle come from a 1978 Mercedes-Benz concept car, the CW311. The German automaker didn’t green-light the project for production. Instead, its designer, Eberhard Schulz, moved forward with it on his own.
This example was the only left-hand-drive model to be delivered to the U.K. and carries just 3493 kilometers on the clock (approximately 2170 miles). True to its roots, a 5.0-liter Mercedes-Benz V8 powers the Isdera.
Find this 1991 Isdera Imperator 108i up for auction at Broad Arrow Auctions, with an estimated winning bid of $800,000-$1,000,000.
