Is it a Nash that looks like a Healey? Or vice-versa? | Nash-Healey Roadster for sale

What do you get when you combine a Healey chassis with a Nash-Kelvinator drivetrain? The Nash-Healey, apparently.

Said to be one of only 153 examples built for 1953, the car features a body hand-built by Pininfarina.

The seller notes the Nash-Healey wears an older restoration, though is “mechanically excellent” and is a “strong driver.”

Find this 1953 Nash-Healey for sale from Gullwing Motor Cars for $125,000.

The Nash-Healey story is a fascinating look at one of the great personalities of sports-car development, Donald Healey. It includes Le Mans efforts, Hollywood personalities, and several tantalizing cases of what might have been. I wrote it up after seeing a gorgeous Nash-Healey coupe at the Forest Grove Concours in 2007. Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing, that's some really interesting history.

Sounds like souring engines from Nash instead of Cadillac worked out for the better-second place overall at Le Mans is a pretty amazing achievement by any standard.
