What did Mercury do after Cale Yarborough won the 1968 Daytona 500? They built a Cale Yarborough special edition of the Cyclone. However, this isn’t one of the 617 run-of-the-mill specials.
This one came with a 428 Super Cobra Jet V8. Only 20 Cale Yarborough specials came with that.
Add on the Drag Pack and a four-speed manual transmission, and only three examples were built like that.
