If just any 996-chassis Porsche won’t do, then how about the 40th Anniversary model?
What makes it so special? For starters, it’s one of only 1963 examples built and is one of only two models to be finished GT Silver Metallic–the other being the Carrera GT.
The 40th Anniversary model also came factory-fitted with a number of desirable features like a limited-slip differential, sport suspension and the X51 Power Kit that added 25 extra ponies to the engine.
This particular example shows only 35,500 miles since new and is billed as mostly unmodified aside from an integrated radar detector.
Find this 2004 Porsche 40th Anniversary 911 Coupe available through Cars & Bids. Hagerty currently values examples in No. 3 condition at $46,000.
