One of only 273 BMW 503 Coupes ever made

Although the BMW 503–alongside the 507 Roadster–wasn’t the financial success BMW planned it to be, we can still appreciate the car as a highly desirable grand tourer.

413 examples of the 503 were built, with this 1959 model being one of only 273 configured as a Coupe.

Billed as chassis No. 69359, the BMW features period options such as a sunroof, Becker Mexico radio and an engine bay-mounted toolkit.

Find this 1959 BMW 503 for sale through RM Sotheby’s with an asking price of 140,000 Pounds, or approximately $170,548.

i saw one of these in a berlin showroom when they first came out.  the showroom also had a model of a jet plane.  i mentioned that i did't know bmw ever made airplanes and the salesman was proud to correct me that bmw made jet engines for ww2 before america ever did.  one of my top 10 favorite cars.

I wonder if they are open to trades.  I have a kidney that is totally a spare.

A kidney for two kidneys? That seems like a fair deal.
