How many examples did Maserati build of its first mass-produced car, the 3500? A little more than 2000. In case that's not rare enough, this 3500 Vignale Spyder is noted to be one of only 242 examples ever built.
Produced in 1960 and sold new in Canada, the Maserati retains its numbers-matching engine plus its original Rosso Alfa paint and black leather interior.
The original build sheet, parts manual, English repair manual and maintenance receipts totaling more than $90,000 accompany the car.
