Perfect for Luftgekühlt or Rennsport: A period-raced Porsche 914/6

This Porsche 914/6 GT race car was once the showpiece in a Lamborghini dealership, so doesn't it deserve to be shown at cars and coffee, Luftgekühlt or Rennsport?

This factory-built Werk 1 car started its life in the stable of Ecurie Biennoise. The team entered it in numerous events from 1970 to 1971, including the 1970 Spa 1000km. Jean Bernard Canonica then assumed ownership and raced it in selected events of the 2.0-liter European GT Championship from 1972 to 1973. After that, it went on to display at Garage du Bout du Monde, a Lamborghini dealership in Geneva, Switzerland.

Today, the car wears its 1970s livery for Ecurie Biennoise and was reunited with its original 1991cc race engine. It also comes with a spares package with additional gear sets, suspension bits and other odds and ends specific to this car. The seller adds, “While piloting the car on fresh race tires through the twists and turns of Laguna Seca, a well-known professional racer noted that he was able to catch and pass a less confident driver in a 700-horsepower 991.2 GT2 RS.”
