More than just a competitive vintage race car–both today and back when it was new–this Genie Mk8 represents an opportunity to own a piece of American racing history.

Accompanied by extensive photography and several documents that confirms known ownership from new, the Genie was piloted by the likes Dan Gurney, Pedro Rodríguez and Ed Lowther throughout the mid-1960s.

During that time, the Mk8 won the 1964 SCCA National Championship and secured a third-place finish in the 1963 Los Angeles Times Grand Prix at Riverside. (Later, the car would also win at the 1999 and 2003 Monterey Historics.)

One of just seven examples believed to have been built, the car is powered by a Ford 289 small block V8 that’s mated to a four-speed Hewland LG500 gearbox.
