Ruf BTR2: One of the fastest cars of its time

If speed at any cost was the name of the game for you back in 1998, then the Ruf BTR2 had to be at the top of your list. It offered a zero-to-60 time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 191 mph.

Ruf Automobile built just 10 examples of the 993-generation BTR. This particular one just has 331 miles, which makes you wonder if they ever came close to trying to see if they could reach that top speed.

The seller notes this is a highly original example, presented in its original colors of Adria Blue over Mocca Brown leather.

Find this 1998 RUF BTR up for auction at Broad Arrow Auctions, with an estimated value of $950,000-$1,100,000.
