What makes this 1934 Packard Eight Coupe Roadster Series 1101 even more desirable? A single family that owned it from its initial sale in 1934 until 2013.

Elizabeth Koos received the car on July 23, 1934, and had it until her death in 1959. After her passing, her daughter Carolina inherited it. Although she did not drive, Caroline had it maintained and was driven in it whenever she left the family home. The next owner bought it from Caroline’s estate in 2013.

The Packard stirred the fancy of Elizabeth. She wrote poetry, and the car was mentioned in the 1938 “Lines from Lakeside:” “My Leslie Howard (my Packard) is a dream / Of sky-blue, chromium, and cream.”

The car underwent a 100-point restoration that was completed in 2021. Receipts from the project totaled well over $300,000. The engine and transmission were rebuilt by marque expert Steve Babinski. The Packard comes with its original sales invoice and other documentation from the Koos family’s ownership.
