What did you get for your last birthday? A slice of cake? Maybe a card? For former Porsche driver Hans Herrmann’s 80th birthday, Porsche unveiled a limited edition Porsche Boxster to celebrate his and Olivier Gendebien’s 1960 win at the 12 Hours of Sebring at the helm of a 718 RS 60 Spyder.

This Boxster RS 60 Spyder–currently showing just 17,000 miles–is one of those limited-edition models, of which, only 1960 examples were produced worldwide.

Features exclusive to the Boxster RS 60 Spyder include a unique front spoiler and dual tail pipes, an exposed instrument cluster and an active suspension system.

Very cool, thank you for that insight.

And if anyone is curious what one of these is worth, Hagerty says $34,400-$62,200 depending on condition.
