Considering the street version of the Alpine A110 was renowned for being extremely lightweight (about 1500 pounds), the race version enjoyed quite a bit of success. This example’s claim to fame is being the first factory Alpine A110 1600 S to score podium finishes in competition.

Notable French driver Jean Vinatier steered this car to two second-place finishes in 1969: Rallye International de Lorraine and Ronde Cévenole. This car comes with well-documented history.

The A110 is highly original, according to the seller, including its livery and bodywork. The same owner has had the car in their possession for more than 40 years.
