Firsts definitely make a race car stand out, and this Maserati 6CM is no exception. It was the first example built of its kind, one of just 33 made by the Italian automaker.
Count Carlo Felice Trossi took over driving duties of the car during the 1936 season. With it he won at places such as the Nürburgring, Milano and Modena. The works car continued its winning ways after being sold to a privateer, winning at Milano once again.
After being acquired in 2017, the Maserati was restored and continued running on track, frequenting the Grand Prix Historique de Monaco, earning two podium finishes at the circuit it debuted at nearly 90 years ago.
Find this 1936 Maserati 6CM Factory Works for auction at Broad Arrow Auctions, with an estimated value of €850,000-€950,000 (approximately $960,000-$1,075,000 USD).
