Why do they call this Chevrolet Corvette the “Devil’s Car?” Its chassis number ends in “666.” Furthermore, it rolled off the line on October 30, 1962–the day before Halloween.

The Corvette’s black-over-red colors reflect its nickname well, too.

In addition to receiving a concours-quality restoration to factory specs in 2010, the Corvette is Bloomington Gold Certified and has received two NCRS Top Flight Awards.

Find this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray ‘Split-Window’ Coupe for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of $175,000-$250,000.
