This Eagle Mk 1 is the very first car built by Dan Gurney’s All American Racers

Between 1965 and 2012, Dan Gurney’s All American Racers built 158 cars. This one, though, is the very first built by AAR, and one of only four examples constructed to compete in Formula 1.

The Eagle was not only raced in F1 by Dan Gurney, but also by two other legends: Phil Hill and Bob Bondurant.

Currently powering the car is a reproduction 2.7-liter FPF engine, though the original powerplant also comes with the sale.

Find this 1966 AAR Gurney Eagle Mk 1 up for auction from Gooding & Company, with an estimated winning bid of $3,000,000-$4,000,000.
