A vintage race machine that can go the distance–literally? Try this Citroën ZX Rallye Raid.
After debuting at the 1990 Pharaohs Rally with 1981 WRC champion Ari Vatanen behind the wheel, the Citroën ZX went on to compete in three Paris-Dakar rallies.
The ZX would later be retained by Citroën Heritage from 1994 until 2011, when it was acquired by its first private owner.
The car then underwent a two-year restoration that brought the chassis to bare metal and overhauled the mechanicals.
In 2021, under the care of its second owner, the ZX was invited to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and was shown at the Rally Day at Castle Combe and the Salon Privé Concours d'Elegance.
Find this 1990 Citroën ZX Rallye Raid for auction from Broad Arrow Auctions with an estimated value of €475,000-€525,000, or approximately $513,900-$568,000.
