What does someone who tests all sorts of cars buy new as one of their personal cars? For Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear fame, it’s this Ferrari F355 GTS.
He ordered it new after driving one in the 1996 VHS special “Unleashed on Cars.” He called the Ferrari F355 GTS, “the greatest car in the world; ever.”
The Ferrari made appearances in “The Sunday Times” newspaper and “Top Gear” magazine. The Ferrari left Clarkson’s hands when The Sunday Times used it as part of a giveaway. Since then it’s gone through a few owners, but has just 14,899 miles on it.
Find this 1996 Ferrari F355 GTS for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of £180,000-£220,000 (approximately $245,000-$300,000 USD).
