Well, my 12a Rx7 is up for sale. The car has 232k miles on it, with about 50k on the remanufactured 12a. The car also has a new radiator and new Sumitomo HTR200's, which are probably the best affordable tires that can go on the stock wheels. The car did overheat once when a rock took out the radiator. I replaced the radiator and haven't had any issues with it. The car has 20 year old Mazda issues, such as some rust, rough idle when cold, etc. The A/C does work. 6 disc CD changer. The car runs and drives great. I just don't need multiple cars living where I do. It's been a solid little car that's served me well for the 2 years I've had it.
Where is the car?
I recognize the Clemson sticker and hangtag. Are you in Clemson?
Great deal! I'm trying to talk my brother into it, but I doubt he'll go for it.
And like others on here, I have no money.
Trade for anything?

I went to Clemson. That's actually College Avenue. I live in Columbia now b/c of my job. Depends on what you want to trade. I'm cutting down on my stable, so to speak.
I also went to Clemson.
Is the car pretty well stock? I'm looking for a car to run in stock class SCCA autocross next year.
Is the $700 firm? (Have to ask).

It's either an S or a GS. Previous owner said they had A/C installed at the dealer. No sunroof, rear drums, etc. The car is stock; it even still has a functioning rat's nest, cat, etc.
desirable light-weight model with no sunroof and manual window cranks. Good luck with the sale

The only things I really have of value would be some parts for a 5.0 Mustang, pistols and a shotgun, and an Xbox 360 with a few games.
I've also got a set of 18" Chrome Cobra R wheels if you have anything that would fit them.

I am SOO glad I am not in SC!
I can afford it but I know I shouldn't.
Can you desribe the rust issues?
I believe I recall you threatening to sell this when you were still at CU.
just to make it even more irresistible, I can guide you to two more very solid 1st gen parts cars near Columbia.
Now if only that car was in Massachusetts a month ago... I know someone who's brother has a spare 12A and transmission.

Yeah, I thought about selling it and focusing on my Rabbit, but later decided to just keep both. If I had a house I'd definitely keep it, but my apartment complex and the existence of my new Rx8 motivates me to sell it. The car had rust around the hatch glass drains from where it sat with the drains clogged. It also has surface rust underneath from where it was driven up North. It's basically got 20 year old Mazda rust. I'd love to keep it and redo everything, but my career has kind of gotten in the way of that.

When I had my 12A you could find trans for $50 used at most junkyards.
I always wondered if I could put an old harley-davidson CV carb on that motor to get around paying for the high dollar racing carb. Same displacement and rev range.

Price is lowered to $500; I don't want to pay taxes or anything on it.
Lemons racer!
JUST KIDDING. That car is way too nice to suffer that fate.
It would make a very decent track car for someone. Most tracks wouldn't require a cage or rollbar so you could take it out "as is" and just have a blast with it. $500 entry fee is very, very low. Full course trackday at VIR in March!
Do you have a delivery range? Like say....Richmond, VA?

Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
I've had 17, I mean 18, I mean... Well, I can't remember how many of these. If it is suitable as a DD as it sits, call me at 404-936-1191. I have cash and live near Atlanta.
